You'll see a variety of gardens featuring herbs, cacti, Native American gardens, butterflies, and an iris garden among others. | Tombstone, Arizona - Just a short drive from Willcox, Tombstone offers visitors a unique historical experience. Visit the old west and see reenactments, life-size replicas of historical figures, tour a photo gallery featuring Apache Chief Geronimo, and walk through the O.K. Corral as it appeared in the 1880's. A reenactment of the famous gunfight at O.K. Corral is enjoyed by visitors daily. There is also a newspaper museum displaying vintage newspapers and printing equipment. | Arizona State Museum - The Arizona State Museum allows visitors to experience exhibitions and educational programs displaying the vibrant indigenous cultures of Arizona and northern Mexico. Highlights of the museum include prehistoric artifacts, over 300,000 photographs & prints, and the largest collection of Southeast Indian pottery in the world. Other collections include Japanese & Chinese costumes, West African sculpture and masks, Philippine pottery, and Old World stone tools, among others. The galleries are open seven days a week. |
